My Story
Thanks for taking time to visit my website. I’m Pushkar, a photojournalist based in Bangalore, India. I have been shooting since 2009, capturing whatever interests me and made foray into photojournalism since 2015.
I currently work with a national daily based in Bangalore, where I get to travel and cover assignments that come my way and work on stories that interest me. I hold a bachelor's degree in business management and masters in mass communication.
Working under immense, challenging and unexpected situations and delivering ahead of deadlines is my everyday work (almost!).
I believe my approach and ability to connect with people helps me narrate intricacies of life through my camera and learn from people of all walks of lives.
With the changing times, it's imperative to be a multitasker. Writing stories, shooting videos, editing, voice over for podcasts and using new multimedia tools to enrich my narrative.
When not shooting, I love to travel, read, listen to podcasts and do home chores!
